Fish Bowl

I would love to create my own goldfish bowl or even garden pond.
I am happy to find plastic top / lid for the bowl but I want to fill it up
(about 3/4 full) with something the will dry hard but clear to simulate
water.
Also any ideas for fish

Castable resin, cut fish from coloured paper and suspend in the resin.

-There are several products made specifically for the porpose of
casting immitation water, at least some of which can be found at
www.micromark.com Which is the website for MicroMark, "The Small Tool
Specialists." They specialize in modelmaking tools, model railroad and
dollhouse building supplies and have all sorts of nifty tools and
supplies for the miniaturist.

For fish, you could make some out of polymer clay, (Sculpey, Fimo,
etc.) or pretty much any plastic material, if you are skilled with an
ExActo Knife.

The latest product which I've heard is quite good is "Scenic Water". I am
emailing you privately with the email addy of the person who sells it. I
