Default Praying for Snow (not necessarilly OT)

The owner of the Viking sewing center in our local JoAnn store
also has another regular store in the next county (with fabric and
everything else she isn't allowed to sell in JoAnn's). She is running
a strange and unusual sell on sewing machines in both stores:
Through noon on December 24th, you either Pay the Regular Price
on any machine in the store (priced from $89 to $7477) -or- its FREE
with 4 inches of snow on December 31.
Amy is either going to make a heck of a lot of money or else go broke!
It is going to be ineteresting to see which way it goes g

Mickie (who would happily do your gambling er..shopping for you)

Some jewelers do that promotion too. I think they buy event insurance for
the possibility of snow. A win/win for them.

I just looked down at an earlier post from you, wondered if you'd found a
nice solution for the bit of oil on the quilt. Is all well? Polly

Just think, DD will be home where we are having some very nice weather (low
60's) while you are enjoying the white stuff. Have not heard from her yet as
to how much she played in the snow yesterday.
