Stunning is the only word for your Rose Sampler Louise. Just stunning! Did
you machine embroider the identification of each patch on your husband's quilt? Very impressive. Thanks for sharing. Martha "Louise" wrote in message news:QbhOb.87223$8H.130634@attbi_s03... And, I'm so glad I visited because you gave me the answer for what I will do with my autumn leaf blocks (same pattern as yours). I never thought about putting them on-point with sashing. That's a perfect solution for me. Martha, nope -- they're all hand embroidered. I made that one back in 1981,
long before I had ever heard of a sewing machine that would do embroidery! Now, if I were going to do it today . . . well, that'd probably be a different story. -- Louise in Iowa nieland4 at mchsi dot com "Martha in IN" wrote in message ... Mardi, I'm glad you made the comment about the sashing, I thought I'd looked
at every picture but ran back when you said that and saw the up close version that I must not have opened. I see the sashing now - it's great Louise! You know how when you first get into quilting and looking at the different ones, how you make that thought in your head like, "one day I'll make that one"? The fall leaves was one of thoes for me, I even bought several materials to use for the leaves in anticipation of doing it. Thanks for sharing all your pics. Mardi wrote in message ... I've been quilting for over 20 years, and I still get those thoughts in my
head! It's not quite as bad as it was when I first started, but it still happens -- a lot! -- Louise in Iowa nieland4 at mchsi dot com "cozy" wrote in message . com...
