Hi everyone, My name is Shelby and I am a cadette Girl Scout in PA.
I was referred to the stamping communities from readers of my posts on
a few Girl Scout groups. My troop and I are collecting UNUSED Greeting
cards to send to the soldiers overseas for our Silver Project Award.
Our goal is to send 5000 or more cards over. Although We plan on
shipping our first shipment over in July we will continue "OPERATION
CARING CARDS" until atleast the end of 2008. If you or anyone you know
would be interested inhelping please contact me for more information
and our mailing address. We accept hand made and store bought cards,
the few people that refferred me to the stamping groups understood
that the harder to get greeting cards are easier to make then find out
of season. i.e. childrens specific age birthdays, valentines and st
patricks day, easter, halloween or even I miss you cards. I am only
familiar with yahoo groups,(because my mom) so if you know of any
other places that would be agood place for me to contact please let me
know and feel free to forward my message to anyone you know that may
be interested. THANKS SO MUCH
