and Jan Houtman's Patchwork Sampler. Unfortunately I got down to the
solidly stitched band toward the bottom of Plight of Fancy and decided I
had to start Patchwork. It is addictive and I don't think I'll be
getting back to Plight until Patchwork is finished.

Great thread, I'm enjoying reading about everyone's projects!

Oh my! why did I go look at that! It is wonderful! Enjoy stitching!

Cheryl

Will you people please stop posting these magnificent things that want to
come home with me. I don't need anymore things sitting around calling to
me.

I may just have to give in to the voice that calling me, actually screaming
at me saying buy me--buy me.

Lucille

But that wouldn't be any fun!

I've fallen in love with the Jan Houtman Samplers but a quick look on the
net didn't bring up a U.S. distributor of her patterns. Does anyone know
who might have them for sale?

Lucille

Let me know when you find them!

It's nice to know I'm not alone ;-) I should've mentioned that I first looked
at the site using Mozilla Firefox. Same problem exists with IE. Either the
images aren't available or there is something wrong with the code that displays
them

When I right-click on the images, I get the message, "The image {name}
cannot be displayed, because it contains errors." I left the comma in
the quote just for grins.

Ok - I'll design your version with out the after dinner mints! LOL

Deal!!!!

Hey, Cheryl, it's almost cold enough to start wearing my scarf!!!
Although record highs are predicted for tomorrow (60s....YES!!!).
Perfect timing for a day off. I can replant the tulip bulbs I
accidentally pulled up when thinning my daylilies and maybe take my
horse out for a little exercise.

Lucille,

As I understand it right now the only shop that sells them is Jayne's
Attic in the UK. I have heard that they ship to the US, but I don't
have personal experience with them. I got my chart from a friend.

Jan Houtman is a man who lives in the Netherlands and has done many
samplers. I love them too!

That is drop-dead gorgeous!!! Wow I'm working on Mirabilia's Mermaids of

the Deep Blue right now - besides a few little other ones, but this is my
main one for now. Her patterns are so easy to follow. You can see it at
www.mirabilia.com

Oh yummmm! I just drool over her mermaids, but I hadn't gone to look
for a while. I did "Waiting for Ships" and I have "Deepest Love" and
"the Queen Mermaid" in stash, but I might have to add these beauties.
