Hi all,

Well, I'm quite chuffed with my last wee work (if I do say so myself).
I had a go at dyeing (food colouring) and made a self striping single
that I plyed with a natural cream. I was going for a random look for a
wee cardy for a friends new baby - pleasingly random is quite hard to
achieve, but I guess it looks okay:

I had only just enough yarn - about 40cm left when done. The last bit
was a little fraught as I wondered if I had enough and what I would do
if I didn't!

That's lovely!

I've been there, didn't know whether to knit quickly to finish before it ran
out or to knit slowly to make it last ...

I love the colours and the sweater is darling! And I'm sure your friend will
love it. ;)

I love the little sweater! Is food coloring kind to the tender baby
skin? I bet it is!
