Another project finished
Hi all,
Well, I'm quite chuffed with my last wee work (if I do say so myself). I had a go at dyeing (food colouring) and made a self striping single that I plyed with a natural cream. I was going for a random look for a wee cardy for a friends new baby - pleasingly random is quite hard to achieve, but I guess it looks okay: http://www.vintagepurls.net.nz/discu...ic.php?p=22#22 I had only just enough yarn - about 40cm left when done. The last bit was a little fraught as I wondered if I had enough and what I would do if I didn't! VP http://www.vintagepurls.net.nz |

I've been there, didn't know whether to knit quickly to finish before it ran out or to knit slowly to make it last ... Mary |
