Default Hydroflux water torch -- use with sterling silver

Hello,
Does anyone have experience using a hydroflux (Okai) or equivalent water
torch with sterling silver.
I need to solder fitments onto heavy sterling belt buckles.

I worry that it's not suited to sterling although that kind of device looks
good overall.

Just wondering.
