Default Itsy-bitsy, teeny-tiny....

Some of you may remember that I recently began hand piecing Quilted
Diamonds from Linda Franz's second book. Part of the time while I was
worrying about DT and DBIL the past few days, I was working on one of
those blocks. This little 4" x 7" diamond block has *45* pieces!! Yikes!
Forty of those are teensy little triangles, no two of which are
identical. That means each one had to be carefully sewn into its
intended spot (mixing them up, as I evidently did the first time I
attempted the block, leads to disaster -- take my word for that). But I
DID IT!! Woohoo! My next diamond block will have significantly fewer
pieces, as a sort of reward. LOL!

I surrender -you are the craziest one among us! Looks great though.
Roberta in D, once pieced a 4.5" block with 16 flying geese IIRC, but on the
machine

Every time I see this heading I think of that old song

Itsy-bitsy
Teeny-weenie
Yellow polka dot bikini

And that song just goes though my head.

I don't suppose your block was yellow or had polka dots?

Actually, Marcella, it is partially yellow! No polka dots, though. g
And I remember that song, too.
