Itsy-bitsy, teeny-tiny....
Some of you may remember that I recently began hand piecing Quilted
Diamonds from Linda Franz's second book. Part of the time while I was worrying about DT and DBIL the past few days, I was working on one of those blocks. This little 4" x 7" diamond block has *45* pieces!! Yikes! Forty of those are teensy little triangles, no two of which are identical. That means each one had to be carefully sewn into its intended spot (mixing them up, as I evidently did the first time I attempted the block, leads to disaster -- take my word for that). But I DID IT!! Woohoo! My next diamond block will have significantly fewer pieces, as a sort of reward. LOL! -- Sandy in Henderson, near Las Vegas my ISP is earthlink.net -- put sfoster1(at) in front http://home.earthlink.net/~sfoster1 AKA Dame Sandy, Minister of Education |
