Default ebay: RA Men's tailoring book by Clarence Poulin

I am auctioning (ebay) a copy of that rare men's tailoring and drafting book
by Clarence Poulin-- Tailoring Suits the Professional Way...***exquisitedly
rare***, you may not have heard of it before but I read somewhere that a
Threads article listed it's value at $5,000!! (ouch). My reserve is only
$50, item number is 3577659472.

I have a copy of the Mansfield & Hillhouse pattern design book on ebay. The
auction closes in *less than 24 hours*. Obviously, I put it in the wrong
place because the current bid is $20. The item number is 3577625763.

best
Kathleen

Guess I'd better snap up one of the three copies listed at ABEBooks
for under $30 then...

Andy, if it's anything but the 1972 edition, that is a steal. I say grab it!
People just don't "know" the book so it's not "popular". And, I apologize
for having posted that info here, I didn't think it was selling because I
saw that other people had posted updates on ebay books here in the interests
of group information. But thanks for the advice (taken).
summarily chastized :-)

Since USENET groups are self-moderating, some posts don't get replied
to as they should, for whatever reason. Or, the poster may be posting
'someone else's' sale item, not 'theirs,' ..which is a grey area for
sure in terms of whether it's an ad or not :-) If it's just promotion
of a 'great book I read' and the poster isn't selling it, it's not an
ad.

Hey gang, I'll vouch for the seller, she's a professional in the industry
unloading some stuff, and she just thought she'd give you guys first crack
at it.

What's wrong with the 1972 edition ? If I saw one for sale, and it was
1972, should I just ignore it ?

These were the 1952 edition, BTW
