Default ideas needed for mini quilt

Our guild is having a challenge. We are to create a mini quilt top. No
bigger than 20" on a side. And it needs to have pink in it. They will
all be put together into one large quilt top (similiar to a sampler) I
have some hand dyed fabric in shades of pink from pale to dark. I also
have 30's repro fabric. I was thinking of an Irish chain with the shades
going from light to dark diagonally across the quilt or mini
paper-pieced Sunbonnet Sue using the repro. Any ideas of your own?

Kathleen,

The challenge sounds intriguing, and I'm looking forward to hearing what
others come up with. I wish I could say I had some fantastically wonderful
ideas for you, but I think my imagination has gone on strike recently.

I adore those three dimentional flower quilts found in Joan Shay's Petal by
Petal book. They are small & there are tons of flowers that are pink. Have
fun! Let us know what you do!
