That would be grain which, when combined with sacred cow, makes a lovely
meatloaf. {snicker}

Licking your floss, as well as using a needle threader, is a matter of choice.
Some say that it can cause damage to a fabric sometimes in the future. Some say
it won't. No one can "prove" it, either way. So I think each and every person
should decide what they want to do without anyone making fun of them.

Oh don`t take any notice of me, Dianne, it`s just one of those silly things
that make me squirm! We all come out with things that make SOMEONE squirm.
Like "kitties" when people mean cats! I just tell myself that it must be an
Americanism and they can`t help it though! ;-)) There - it`s all YOUR
fault - YOU made me come out with that, LOL!

You`re certainly not shallow - maybe you just try to please people too much!
I much prefer emoticons to the vbg sort of thing - maybe we`re all nuts!

Speaking of which, I must be really one of those idiots who want to

please.

When I first started posting anywhere on the Internet, I always spelled
out the word and encased them in brackets of some sort. That was
because so many were new, and it made them feel like outsiders, so I
thought it was more "welcoming." Then somewhere in this past year or
so, I saw all these "emoticons", which I never liked, and started using
them. Maybe it was a "groupie" thing and I just lost my head for awhile.

Then Sheena recently talked about how much she hated them, gave a good
reason, and I quit.

To top that off, I remember you complaining about the word "hubby". It
bothered me that it bothered you. I understood your point of view. So
most of the time (except when being obstinate), I'd write out the whole
word.

My lordy. Am I THAT shallow?

Because, like damping your hair, licking your floss makes it much easier

It doesn`t do any harm either to you or the floss - and the fraction of

an
inch normally gets cut off in any case. If you`re neurotic in case some

of
your saliva might contaminate your stitching, it`s simple enough to snip

off
that tiny bit in any case. This subject crops up every few months on

I'm guilty of that one.

What makes me squirm is "flossies," "silkies," "pressies," "fabbie,"
"draggies," "ornies," and such that I often see on the Teresa Wentzler
Bulletin Board. I didn't even talk like that to my babies (or my
kitties or my cats), I'm sure not going to talk like that to adults in
an adult forum.

But that's just me.

But, as they say, I'm best when I'm bad. =)

Will future researchers be confused by the stubborn dog hairs that I

*sigh* I never thought of that. Not only is my stitching full of cat
hairs, but my cats, especially the kittens, have been known to lick (and
chew) my floss ends.
