Default Embroidered Marigold-Bold

Hi everyone,
I've finished the Marigold!
The coloring was done the other day along with the ironing...so the
tinting
with crayon was complete.
I set out to try several threads and completed it with results that
I hope are rather 'memorable'.
Here it is:

Please take a look.

That is fantastic! I'm fairly new to the art of embroidery and I long
for the day when the flowers in my imagination take shape under needle
and thread. Your project is really inspiring.

Your project turned out wonderfully well. Your use of the threads on
the stamens give it almost a three dimensional look.

Really well done.

Cheers,

Repeat after me "my stitching doesn't have to be photo-realistic" When I
remember to say this to myself, I'm much happier. OTOH, I get miffed
when my fingers can't translate what my brain is imagining sigh
