Default A new wall hanging quilt from remnants

Here is what I did with the remnants from the batch of samples of
Susie M. Robbins Tropical Prints, that I recently acquired and used to
make the Messenger Bag/Purse for my wife. I had to think of something
to do with the few pieces of hexagon shaped fabric that I had, so I
cut a bunch of black cotton fabric to that shape and joined the whole
shebang into a small wall hanging quilt that is now hanging in my
sewing room. I think the sea of black hexagons makes the colors of
those Tropical prints, which are already colorful, now even more
striking. The black really makes them pop. Dimensions are; 25" tall x
34" wide.
Enjoy,

John

John, your creativity and work ethic are truly amazing. I have to
remind myself that you have an injured hand. Thank you for sharing. I
am awed and humbled.

Wow, that's pretty. I love to use black rather than white in my quilts.
It makes the colors much more vibrant.
