Default RIP Julia Child

I just saw on CNN that Julia Child passed away yesterday.

She taught me how to make a proper pot roast, and that if all else
fails it is quite permissible to toss the thing in the dog's dish and
order Chinese.

Ahhh that is sad news, she was an institution, I loved her cooking and her
shows. I have her very first cookbook on my kitchen bookshelf. My first
recipe from her was a potato soup.....

Hi everyone!

Els wrote like this:

"Ahhh that is sad news".

I answer like this:

Yes. I did not know the person in question, but I am sorry
about this anyway. Truly sorry.

Pirjo, Julia Child was a public person. She wrote cook books and most of
all was for years a fixture on TV, with her cooking show. She was nearly
92 when she died. She was a great Lady, and we will all miss her, I am
sure.

And I answer like this:

Oh...Cooking show. It must have been great show. She was
honorably aged when she died. 92 years is a long life.

With sympathy: Pirjo
