is this all about Wood, or are there Stone carvers here too?
Hi everyone,
I'm a seattle-area artist and sculptor and was wondering if this newsgroup is all about wood or if us lowly carvers of stone are allowed to hang out and cause problems too. Thanks, James Kelsey www.jameskelseystudios.com (mostly metal stuff, but more stone is coming soon) |

Hi James,
I'm a stone carver, and they haven't kicked me out yet. (Although I do carve some wood too, so maybe that is why I'm still here.) Check out my other post here regarding a new carving I completed. - Marc "RainLover" wrote in message ... I've done a very few pieces in stone, namely Vermont marble (white and verde) and various soapstone pieces. I do a little of everything. -- Chuck *#:^) chaz3913(AT)yahoo(DOT)com Anti-spam sig: please remove "NO SPAM" from e-mail address to reply. I carve a bit using soapstone and anything else that does not move. I like reading the wood stuff as it teaches me a lot that I need to know. www.stoneman.ca (Web site for my stuff.) |
