THAT yarn and THAT pattern - NOT!
A friend of mine collects snippets of lace, so I'll donate the edging I
saved from my ill-fated Shetland shawl. I've decided to make a simple stole with an undulating eyelet over 6 stitches. Mindless enough that I won't need a pattern but it should look fancy enough when I get it finished. And I may get brave and knit on a fancy scalloped border when all is said and done. Michelle Who STILL hasn't cleaned the kitchen so she can make a cake but who IS thinking about lace! |

Yep, a rectangular stole. I cast on 66 last night, I'm using 5 on either
side for a garter selvedge. I may not even need to spin more yarn for this version of the project! Michelle Who did finally load the dishwasher "Noreen's Knit*che" wrote in message ... Slinky / slash / Michelle, So, are you making a rectangular stole/shawl then? I think I might too, although I really would've liked a triangular... Laughing about the kitchen, drooling over the cake!
