OT - British definition please
Ok - I've seen the phrase "Sloan Ranger" (referring to a woman) twice
recently in British books and on the show What not to Wear! Would some one please give a working definition of a Sloan Ranger, please. My mental image is what I called a preppie back in the late 70's to early 80's. A woman that went to prep school, with money, and a certain style of clothing. Cheryl |

Very upper class and elegant young ladies who shop at the top shops in the
West Endof London - i.e. in sloane Street. Princess Diana is a typical example. Pat P. -- Do not worry about tomorrow`s troubles. Today has enough troubles of it`s own.
