I am looking for a beginners class in either wire or metal work for jewelry in the Boston area. Does anyone know of one? Metalwerx leaps to mind. In Waltham. http://www.metalwerx.com Note, I do have some association with them, they help advertise _our_ blacksmithing classes. But still, they've got some pretty well known instructors there. The North Bennett Street School has a jewelry _program_. http://www.nbss.org Never been there, good reputation as far as I know. There's also the Worcester Center for Craft. Check their sites, visit them, judge for yourself. -- Carl West http://prospecthillforge.com : The Blacksmithing Classroom Reduce. Reuse. Recover. Refurbish. Repair. Repurpose. Recycle. |
