As far as spam, I am just letting your know. There are many good
knitting bags out there.

It's spam, plain and simple. Prior to today you had never posted to
this group and I suspect you'll only be posting when you have something
to sell.

Spam. That's all.

Besides - IMO they are truly ugly bags. I make my own felted bags to
carry
my knitting. From my stash no less (snicker). Hey, gotta use it up.

Showoff :-)

And if it is you who is manufacturing the bags, then your post should go
no rec.crafts.textiles.marketplace, the only newsgroup where commercial
advertising is allowed. Otherwise in any of the other
rec.crafts.textiles.* hirearchy, it is spam.

What you did is sort of equivalent to walking into your local yarn store
and proclaiming in a loud voice that your store in the next town offers
better prices and better products -- except it is worse, because instead
of walking into the local yarn store, you walked into a designated
no-advertising zone and advertised.

If you are a small business trying to promote yourself, go GOogle for
the FAQ called Advertising on Usenet: How to do it, how not to do it
and find out what you should do. Then go Google for Boulder Pledge and
find out why you have alienated many potential customers who will now
refuse to patronize your business.

Oh daughters!

But I suspect that we hated some things our mothers did when we were younger
