Default OT Fractured English?

From the latest rule update of our HOA:

"Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at The Club unless they are renting the
meeting room."

The mind boggles at an alcoholic beverage desiring to rent the meeting room,
much less being able to pull it off. ;-)

Statements like that drive me to seek alcoholic beverages. Maybe I should
seek them at The Club??

Some of the funniest lessons I do with my 3rd and 4th graders are on
pronoun referents. After my co-teacher and I make up some that have
them hysterical, they make some up, illustrated them, and read them to
the class. It was a great lesson to focus the kids on proofing their
writing for meaning. They are all sorta true events:

Mr. S baked cookies with the class then put them in the oven. Later
Billy ate most of them. The ones that weren't eaten by Billy were
eaten by the custodians after school.

I made orgiami birds with my friends after school. When we were all
done, I hung them from the ceiling of the playroom.

There were so many kids bringing gifts to the Nursing Home for
Valentine's Day that we had to squish them into the trunk of Mrs.
Smith's car and tie them down. We were worried that some might blow
out on the way there so we covered them all with a big garbage bag.

What do you think they'd need to meet about? Corks vs. screw types.
liet vs. regular beer?
