Default Teeny Tiny Happy Dance

I finally backed and birthed the "Poly-Denim 9 Patch" I started ooooooh,
let's just say aways back. It's been sittin there gatherin' dust because I
couldn't find a backing wide enough that I liked. Let's just say I found
one finally which wasn't wide enough but I snipped and fudged and trimmed
and it's now completed. I don't like it *that* much or as much as I thought
I would but it'll make a nice picnic rug to have in the back of the car.

I think there may be an "unfinished" pic up where it's just laying on the
floor looking pretty. I really do have to update that website. Got any
round tuits hanging round?

eeeeeek, has been too long since i perused all your quilts.
love the your newly finished denim picnic rug, well done!!

i got a question bout the shape on each unit of a whirlygig....
are they sorta like skewed applecores? its kinda hard to tell from the
lighting on the pix. i cant imagine doing all those by hand, eeeeek. ok,
maybe if i used interfacing to back them, then joined them by whip stitching
them like i've done with EPP. i admire your perseverence to finish all those
wee 'gigs',
goodness me, your dh is one lucky guy.
now then, whats the next project? lol.

LOL you give me too much credit Jeanne! The individual shapes are sort of
like a stretched out S- or maybe a skewed applecore would do it. I tried
the whipstitching part and it was more trouble than it was worth. He keeps
hinting at me that it would be a beautiful quilt once it was finished! I'll
get there eventually!

The next project? either a bento box christmas quilt or 2 quilts for the
DDs or yikes ! Getting the cupcakes out the oven!!!

Good for you! I looked at your site. Wow are you ever brave. The
whirlygigs. I don't think I would ever attempt that one. You do very
nice work but if I had to pick my favorite so far would be the Aunt
Marie's Garden or the baby blazing star. Thanx
Joanna

No, used all mine... Gotta couple of square ones spare, if they are any
use?

Woohoo, Sharon! It's a neat quilt, and I'm sure it's even better in its
finished form. Boy that blazing star is beautiful, and the whirligigs
are terrific!
