Default casserole dish

Hi everyone,

I just made my first covered casserole dish and it's all trimmed and ready
to be set aside to finish drying. I was wondering if I should finish drying
it with the lid off or on. I know you should bisque with lid on. Thank you
for your help.

I usually dry lidded stuff with the lid on....just in case anything
warps. It never does in the drying, but I still do it!

When I dry my lidded pieces, I tear some newspaper into long strips about 2"
wide. I then lay a few of the strips over the casserole and then place the
lid on top of the paper. That way, if I need to move the lid for any reason,
I have the ability to do so. Steve in Tampa, Fl.
