Looking For Sales Reps

I own a jewelry packaging company (ring boxes, pouches, gift-wrap,
bags, etc.), and for years, we've had difficulty finding reps to sell
our products into independant jewelry stores. Hence, I thought I'd
post our needs in this group, per chance someone out there might be
interested in what we have to offer.

I'm looking for part-time reps located in major markets. The job would
entail 5 to 10 hours of work per week - you decide when, so long as
they coincide when a jewelry store is open. You'd cold call the
jewelry stores in your area, and drop off calalogs, samples and other
related sales materials. As our line is pretty upscale, it's not an
easy sell, but once a customer is onboard, we usually keep them
forever.

We're testing this concept in Chicago, where our part-time rep is
earning about $15,000 per year (10% commission). This rep gets her
children off to school, works a few hours per day, and gets home in
time before the children return. She makes a few bucks, has the
stimulation of the business enviornment, and builds a business that
could become full-time someday.

Once a new jewelry store is opened, on average, they buy about $5,000
of product from us per year, so each store is worth about $500 in
commissions.
