mini torch local exhaust ventilation
Hi. I recently picked up a mini torch (little torch made by SMITH), and
an oxy/acetlyene rig for doing small metal sculpture. I want to set up a local exhaust system for ventilation, and I'm trying to figure out how much air i need to move. I'm planning to run a 4' flexible hose (like you have for your dryer) from my work bench to a fan and out the window. My dad found some neat fans that would work perfect for this: http://www.smarthome.com/3011.html My main question is this: How much nasty fumes does the mini torch produce, and therefore how much CFM does the fan need to move? Does anyone know? thanks much. |
