Default Anyone ever used a Roland impact Printer/engraver?

Hi,

I was thinking about maybe in the near future purchasing one of these units..
Anyone ever used one and if so are you happy with the product? We want to
engrave on very small pieces of stainless steel jewelry and wondered how well
this worked.

Thanks
Me

Aloha ME,
The Roland Metaza is a pretty cool tool. It uses a piezo w/ a diamond tip. The
trick to using it, is on how to prepare the photo itself. Harder metals tend to
shorten the tip life (nickel plated materials are the worst culprit). Many
premade and properly hardened precious metal and base metal products are
available. All you have to do is bring in the image and print it. Finished
Product in 10 to 20 minutes, depending on size of the item. The average tip life
is approximately 3000 Hours. If you want to discuss your application or want a
sample, drop me an email. I am a tech rep / reseller for the Roland line, as
well as other CAD/CAM Technologies.

Best regards,
Christian
