Default What I've been up to lately

Scroll down to my newest piece titled "Mabb held out her hand". There are
others in the works, all with babies in one scale or another. They're my
latest preoccupation. The hand in this piece is life size.

Perfection. Absolutely lovely. I had an urge when, I saw the baby, to reach
out and touch.

Kathy, your work continues to get better and better.

May I ask, how is the publishing thing going? Are you taking a well deserved
break, or starting a new book?

Well as usual, I am awe inspired, by your work! But, I must say, with this
sculpture you have truly out done yourself. Your detail is exquisite!!
Do you have any tips, tricks you wouldn't mind sharing on how to keep the
fine details of say hair so neat in appearance. I can never get my fur or
hair to look so realistic. Are there specialty tools to use, or will I just
have to console myself that years more practice will have to suffice for me.
LOL

Thanks for sharing,
Ms. Eli Quin

You'd have to ask my husband how the publishing thing is going; I'm taking a
long break, doing only what I want when I want. My husband is busy from
early morning tilo late at night, so I suspect things are going well.
Thanks for asking and for your kind words about my work.

The hair you see is a combination of paint, fiber and clay. I do use a
special tool for hair; it's featured in my new book.
