Ot another exhibition
Ladies and Gentlemen , As you I went to see the Itlaian Renaissance
and Venus Unveiled with Ria, I also saw another Exhibition of the "Futurismo 1909-1926" which was also remarkable , It has been sort of put away as an artistic movement , but it speaks very much to us who have seen the Post -Modern. many of the artists are Anti war , anti dictatorship, they believed that Mechanics and industrialization will save humanity from Poverty, wars etc... as it didn`t , some of them retreated a bit , and became more Mystyque and turned to turned to worship the Existing order , and some even talked against all this Mechnismo ,,,, They made many Architectual plans for High Rise buildings at the Time . Most without any human being , some of Air Look , They made also many `Avionic` pictures as if taken from the air .. and some made marionettes [with allusions to Robots working instead in humans] and of course some lovely Textiles. mirjam |
