Have you not seen the commercials? "Good cheese comes from happy cows.
Happy cows come from CALIFORNIA."

But that's OK, your Saskatchewanian cows can give ICE cream.

Happy cows come from CALIFORNIA."

But that's OK, your Saskatchewanian cows can give ICE cream.


It is a long-standing argument in the Daylight Savings debate (which is
on-going here) that to change the clocks would upset the cows. Since we
don't change the clocks, at all, ever, the cows must be very very
contented.

The cows in Saskatchewan that I saw, looked only too contented,
standing under their huge prairie skies with puffy little clouds
sailing along, they made me think of the oxen Maude Lewis used to
paint.

I was really thinking of oxen she painted with long eyelashes etc. but
this is a rather nice tribute to her for people who don't know her
art.
