Wow! I found one of my WTC blocks!!
Back after the awful events of 11th September 2001 I along with many
other quilters worldwide sent blocks off to the WTC Memorial Quilt. Tragically Amy Leasure, who had the vision of a quilt with a block for every person who perished, herself passed away before the project was completed and it stalled. However, progress is still being made and I just checked out the new site and saw one of my blocks in a completed quilt. It is great to see that the project is still going, albeit more slowly than originally intended. The main site is he http://www.future-heirlooms.com/amysvision/index.htm So don't lose heart if you had sent blocks in and wondered what had happened to them. Lizzy - feeling humbled and amazed that one of my blocks has made it into such an immense project. -- Lizzy Taylor Heywood, Lancashire, UK 53:36:00N 2:06:00E http://www.thetaylorfamily.org.uk |

to see _your_ block? Lizzy Taylor wrote in message ... Back after the awful events of 11th September 2001 I along with many other quilters worldwide sent blocks off to the WTC Memorial Quilt.
