Clasp Options - Twist Chain Necklace
Hello,
I am trying to come up with a clasp for a 24" heavy steel chain. It's a twist chain, a big version of what is commonly used for wallets and keys and that sort of thing. The links are about 1/2" wide and about 3/4" long. The chain weighs about 5 1/2 ounces. Any suggestions? Also on how to attach the clasp? Thanks! |

In case anyone was interested, I found what is the perfect "clasp" for this
type of necklace - I pickup up a stainless steel "quick link" from a local hardware store for just a couple of dollars. It looks like a normal chain link, except it has a small threaded nut-like thing that screws open. Just thought I'd offer that up in case anyone else was making jewelry for rock-band types or other folks like that. "arpagonus" wrote in message ...
