Default Baking Soda Beads ...

I wonder also what does it means to "neutralize" them??
Yes, with dark color as based bead, it's beautiful ... I particularly like
it with Med or dark Lapis !

Moretti/Effetre glass is a soda-lime glass. By adding baking soda you're
causing an alkali reaction on the surface of the beads. Neutralizing the
baking soda with a mild acid stops the chemical reaction. Opposites cancel
each other out.

When would you do that? You couldn't do it after making them but before
annealing, could you? Do you jusy bathe them in vinegar after they're
annealed?

You don't have to do it if they are encased. At least that's how I
understand it.

I need to get along with posting in newgroup ...
My first message was I the wrong place and my response to a message was send
directly to Kathy_Az ...

I apologize ...

My response to Kathy_Az message was : "Does citrus juice would work? or does
it have to be a powder a dry neutralizer?"
