Default Omnigrid ruler ...work surface

I need to make a correction or two about the Omnigrid rulers I mentioned before
(for making square and parallel cuts in sheets of clay for boxes or strips...
in the "Curing with Epoxy" or similar-sounding thread).

Firstly, all markings are actually on the BACK side of the rulers sold now, so
they're protected from long contact with the clay anyway.
Secondly, I rubbed some Diluent on the (yellow and black) markings of a newly
purchased Omnigrid, and nothing came off.

Also... it turns out that Jeanne, who had originally reported the markings
vanishing, had fairly old Omnigrids (1988 & 1986) ...ownership or paint, etc.,
may well have changed since then.

So-o-o, I guess I don't have to read the numbers upside down and backwards to
keep raw clay off the ruler or to avoid impressions from the lines. Am looking
forward to using it.

(Btw, the Omnigrids come in various sizes...squares, rectangles and triangles,
down to 4" x 4".... here's a selection and a close-up:

retail)
