Default Question about Poppy&Fancy Jasper

I have a favor to ask of y'all. Marisa2 sent me some lovely jasper--fancy
rounds, and poppy tubes. I'd really like to see what others have done with
their jasper. Until now, I'd only used dalmation(rough) and mahogany
obsidian(polished) jasper. Does anyone have any pics they could share? TIA

I don't have a lot of my semi-precious stuff loaded here, but there are
a few jasper pieces towards the bottom...

Thank you Karin! I really liked your bloodstone and jasper necklace.

All of those pieces were eye catching and very pretty

Hmmm.... I know I have no pics here, and I think all the pieces in
question went home with my partner after the last art fair, but I can
describe.....

poppy jasper works wonderfully well with :

.... riverstone, copper, and onyx.

.... black diamond swarovski and bali silver.

Fancy Jasper is a bit harder to say.... Each lot can run to different
hues, so it is a matter of picking up the best matches for that
particular batch.

With Jasper in general and other "busy" stones, I find that I like to
pair it with "plain" stones in complimentary or contrasting colors and
a fair amount of metal (copper or silver usually with Jasper) and
allow the richness of the jasper to come through.

my 2 cents.

Katie

Thank you Katie I was thinking about pairing some copper with the jasper,
since I've been making my own copper beads and findings for the past month or
so. I'll give it a try once I'm off my "gotta do everything in peyote stitch"
kick.
