That's nice. Have a good night to you too. Well, it was actually intended to be neutral. Sorry it didn't come across that way. But of course, your posts are always sweetness and light. If you wish to stitch something in commemoration of
September 11th, you might want to check out the collection of links I collected shortly after that horrible day. Note that not all the links work, but many of them do. I am not selling anything. Many of the links are to free charts, but some are not free. there are also links to other collections. Try: http://cs.millersville.edu/~katz/xstitch/sept11.html -- Beth Katz |

I think one of the links on Beth's page is Craft-Searcher's World Peace Ribbon, for which the link no longer works (it's now Craft-Searcher.NET) and the deadline has passed. Grand total, the ribbon was over 100 feet long, with segments from several countries. Some of the segments were simply pieces of printed fabric with an ink signature, and others were embroidered/quilted/appliqued works of art. It's been donated to the International Day of Peace Vigil (www.idpvigil.com), and will be displayed at their future vigils, including one in September at the United Nations. -- Finished 7/4/03 -- Army Wife WIP: Angel of Autumn, Calif Sampler, Holiday Snowglobe, Guide the Hands (2d one) Paralegal - Writer - Editor - Researcher http://hometown.aol.com/kmc528/KMC.html |

Try: http://cs.millersville.edu/~katz/xstitch/sept11.html I personally like Richard Seekins' little flag chart. It's the smallest one I've ever seen that has 50 stars on it and is somewhat to scale. I stitched on 25 count fabric over one and made a pin out of it that I still wear occasionally. Paula B. |
