now you can spamproof your return addy on here.
click on tools/accounts/news tab.
click on the server your using for rctq, change your email addy and return
addy there so it is totally bogus but at least the part after @ is bogus.
click apply/ok or whatever shows there.

then go into tools/options/signature tab
type in the text box
mardor48 at gmail dot com
(just another spamproofer)
click apply/ok or whatever shows there.
anyone replying to you will have to manually type in that addy to reply but
thats easy for them to do.
holler if you get stuck,
j.

I know how to spam proof. If someone wants to open every email and check
for addresses, go for it. I can always block emails on my end.

Howdy!

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they *aren't* out to get you. g

Changed over to eternal-september - where'd they get that name?-
and, so far, so good. Sent the addy to B-fly a couple of days ago;
I see she has fluttered by. ;-)

Cheers!

yup, worked fine and dandy.
ah, its come thru on eternal-sept.
i'll give that a try, see if it works for me from here too.
oops, off to fix my return addy on eternal-sept and send it thru that
server.
fixed the return addy, moved to read this and reply thru eternal-sept
server, lets now see if it works with my addy spamproofed here since it has
to use username and password to connect, unlike aioe. hmmmm.

Ran all the replies to Ginger's post thru DS and he went for the one that
you didn't have to register for. Now, I'll wait a few days and just 'see'
how many posts I get thru that addy.

Hopefully, it'll be MORE THAN 127 that I avgd with the last ISP.

Thanks for your help--your e has been properly marked for saving.
