I think the 3 below that one more resembles something else or spacemen.

remove the thorns and add a hyphen between the 2 words to email me.

Thanks, Peggy, wonderful site! (Does anybody besides me think that the
"Iron but No Steam" icons look like little spacemen or something?

The website Peggy sent has everything, and circle with a P is
Dryclean, Any Solvent Except Trichloroethylene.

Still can't figure out the spiral. It's NOT the "no wringing" symbol
from http://www.textileaffairs.com/hirez.htm

Thanks everybody for all your help!

Cheers,
Laura M

P in a circle - no clue
???? BRBR
I have always assumed this had to do with whether you could dry clean -- the P
standing for the solvent.
Not sure if that is right , though

Yarn Forward also has the symbols at:
http://www.yarnfwd.com/ca/carelbl.html

but I don't see a spiral there. My Kooler's Encyclopedia of Crochet
also has them, but no spiral either.

Thanks, Peggy! That answers all of them except the spiral. I wonder
what that one is for...

The only icon I've found that looks like a spiral is the one for "no
wringing."

There's a spiral that means 100% wool, and a variation that means wool
blend.

Perhaps that's your spiral.
