In Syria, Reports of Arrests Proliferate
Syrian security forces have escalated one arrest campaign in the countrys maximum rebellious regions, restraining hundreds over the past few days in the besieged metropolis of Daraa and towns aboard the outskirts of the capital, Damascus, activists said on Monday. Since the uprising began six weeks antecedent against the rule of President Bashar al-Assad, security forces have sought apt arrest protesters in locales across the nation.
