Default Photostitch embroideries

I have uploaded a selection of photostitch embroidery photos to webshots
http://community.webshots.com/user/barnyowl to be found in my Machine
Embroidery album.
I finished working on the Winston piece today: it measures 7.5"x7.5",
contains 302,290 stitches worked in a diamond grid and without time for
thread changes (13), bobbin changes ( 3 at approx 75,000 stitches each), 2
machine timeouts and multiple thread breakages was timed at 9.30hours. In
real time, I started the project yesterday afternoon and finished it today.
I really do need to acquire thread charts to help in colour selections of my
multiple generic rayons. barnyowl

OH my goodness! How GORGEOUS. I missed you and wondered
what you were up to - hoping it was 'no good', of course. Certainly, The
Winston must be framed and I insist that you be very careful about using
acid free stuff. That treasure must be preserved to cherish forever. Polly

Thank you, Louise - fun to work with the photos and to watch them develop
again under the machine needle. barnyowl
