perforated paper?
Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me find large sheets of perforated paper for embroidery. I've searched the 'net but the largest I've found is 9"x12". I have an antique Victorian frame I'd like to fill with something similar to the kits sold he http://www.sagestitchworks.com/ Those kits are very nice but a bit pricey for me. I'd rather do my own design anyway. I need perforated paper approximately 21" (or more) long. Does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks for your help. Merry |

long. Does anyone know where I can find it? BRBR Seems to me I recall Linn Skinner once mentioning that she carried it in her shop booths at shows. You might e-mail her to see if she still has it or can tell you who her supplier was: http://www.skinnersisters.com You might also write the SageStitch folks to see if they would be willing to sell you just the paper. Hi Merry:
The larger sheets of paper are available to your local shop through Yarn Tree Distributors http://www.yarntree.com .. They are perfect for a large sampler. I will be teaching a class using these bigger sheets in Rockome this year but we'll be cutting them up and making boxes. And speaking of paper stitching, did you know you could use q-snaps on
paper? Just configure them to catch the ends of the paper withour curling it all the way around the base snap. Then use either just 2 snaps or four, depending on the size of the paper. Works great!
