Help! I need ideas!
I want to do a design with the words "The road to Hell is paved with
good intentions." The wording itself won't be a problem. Anyone got any ideas for something to surround this saying? It's for a college-aged male--someone to whom I gave a really hard time this summer so I told him I'd stitch him something to make up for me being such a pest! So??? -- Joan See my first-ever design he http://www.HeritageShoppe.com/heritage/temp/joan1.jpg "Stitch when you are young and poor, frame when you are old and rich." - Elizabeth's (rctn'r) sister's MIL (Barbara Marr) |

I immediately thought of things like: piles of thick improving-looking
books; garden tools leaning on a wall (shovel, hoe, rake, etc.); maybe something about cleaning? and cobwebs connecting them all. Alison's idea sounds good. How about a winding cobble-stoned path going
into the distance with weeds growing from it to go with the tools. "Alison" wrote in message ...
