Default has anyone tried this marketing technique?

I started using this marketing technique that is absolutely free but you can
also upgrade. I have not done any research on those costs. It's viral but
does anyone have any info on it's results, success or not to bother with it?
Does it help getting your name around? if you want to see it, go to my site,
http://paperandimages.home.att.net, and then exit it, and you will have the
page on your screen. Let me know what
you think this is all about.
Thanx, H

Harriet,

I visited your site but did not see anything when I exited. My popup
blocker stopped it cold. Avoid popups, less then 1% actually get
clicked anyway.

Most of the opinion I've read says it's not worth it-- it takes a lot
of time to tweak and develop. Most of the time, the other members are
just trying to sell YOU their stuff! I tried a similar program and
just didn't find it worth the effort.

You're better off doing some kind of newsletter. That's
time-intensive, too, but pays off down the road.
