triangles, dratted things

The triangles are cut so that the long edge is bias, which is the
problem of course. The bias edges will be inside the block when I'm
done [Friendship Star].

The first proper quilt I ever made was Friendship stars! Yes, the
walking foot may help. I must say I don't remember having a problem
with them, but I had just completed a '70's style evening gown with a
bias cut top and a circular skirt in floppy poly satin, so anything
cotton was going to be easy after that stuff!
