Default October BOM

Finally! I just made it over the finish line with those two blocks
before October ended and the directions for the November blocks arrive
in our mailbox.

I was gone nearly every weekend in October so I had hardly any time to
sew. The pieced block turned out to be complicated (why oh why did I
decide to use a striped fabric!). I did it with templates again as I
work with "scraps and manage to make mistakes even using templates.
Anyway, they are done and sent to Teri. I've also put them on my
webshots page.

But, the stripes are so elegant, Uschi; (even though they make things a
bit trickier).

It may be hard, but they sure turn out just lovely
