Sharon, as I watched that beautiful tribute to fallen Canadians I couldn't
help but think of the thousands of of soldiers who have died in the military
from countries around the globe. If only ............ well, fill in the
blank. We should all live in peace and love, too bad it just doesn't happen.

Thank you Sharon, for posting that. I'm glad that the sacrifices made
by our countrymen and women is brought to the attention of the rest of
the world. I'm not sure if they realize that out peacekeepers, under
NATO are a primary target of the Taliban in Afghanistan, where they are
attempting to stabilize the country to the point that the Afghan people
are strong enough to withstand them on their own.
