Hi Els,
I hope you enjoyed the Bach program. I won't tell DH that you went to one or he would want to be there too. He loves classical music. Hugs, Nora |

I almost always have the radio tuned to a local classical music station and enjoy attending concerts by the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. -- Jan in MN |

Volkswagen baby sweater? Tell me more. BRBR It is a Dale pattern with "stipes" of different colored new style Beetles across the sweater. It is from an older Dale baby book. A blogger made one and put it on her site - see the boy on the left. http://alison.knitsmiths.us/cat_bugs.html I don't have a picture of mine but that is what it looked like. JCT Oh, they are BEAUTIFUL!!! Congratulations! Katherine |

We have rehearsal this afternoon, which means that I will be able to knit for most of the two hours, so I should finish the new baby's hat. All in all, a good day! Hope everyone else is having a good SUnday. Katherine Let's see, double it and add thirty...that's 44 degrees F, just about what it is here in Maryland, and sunny, too (or it was when I first started this and got distracted!). I did a lot of lolling around with coffee and the Sunday paper, still can't knit for very long. Sigh. Back to work tomorrow to see how half-days at my computer go. Nope, don't double it - this was a MINUS 7, which translated to about 19°F. Once you get below zero, the easy conversions are no good. Katherine Whoops, I completely missed that minus sign! Shiverrrrr...! LOL I try to miss it, but it always gets me. g Katherine |

"Katherine" No, we are far enough north that we rarely get those storms. However, some of my family and friends got hit. I will be calling them tomorrow to see how they are all doing. Good - it was a brutal storm from the sounds of it, and kept the power line people pretty busy. Dora My DIL lost power for 14 hours, so that wasn't too bad. She is just about due to start her maternity leave, and I wish that would happen soon - she doesn't need to be out and about in that weather! Katherine |
