Try google. Enter an English word and its counterpart in a foreign
language, and you will stumble across several translation pages.
Example: When entering the words knit and tricot I found
http://www.tricotin.com/dico.htm which looks pretty complete.

When entering knit tricoter stricken I found
http://members.fortunecity.com/patty...n/5lingue.html

And so on.

Good luck,
Kerstin
