That "special case" UFO

Has just been relegated to the frogpond. It is a circular afghan on
#8 needles in Brown Sheep Cotton Fine. I'm up to about 2500 stitches
and the freaking thing is barely 4' across, and I've got 6 skeins of
yarn left, plus the two balls I'm working now.

I can't imagine that many stitches. WOW is the only word to describe it.

Well, if the thing were a shawl made with fine wool yarn and a nice
lace pattern (or many) it would have been blocked long since,
methinks.

Now to find a project for a ton of Cotton Fine...
