Aww, c'mon, now that's just mean! I don't think SNIGDIBBLY was
"flouncing" exactly. Maybe "ruffling" a bit...or "ruching"????

Mayhap she would stay and be happy if she knew that I just gave
myself a black eye? With the vacuum cleaner. I have known for years
that housework was dangerous, if not injurious to my health, which is
why I do as little of it as possible. Minimalism is my housekeeping
motto.

I have an adolescent daughter (and son, come to that). I can recognise a
right good flounce when I see one.

I was doing buttonholes yesterday as it started to go dark ... beaned
myself with the thread-take-up leaver. This morning I appear to be
wearing a bindi .. which is not funny! Stop laughing!! I mean it! Stop
now or I'm unsubscribing!

(Is it really almost 2 yrs since I broke a metacarpal doing dusting?)

It should now be perfectly clear to all of you that this "housework" is
dangerous. You are not equipped with the proper safety devices to
tackle these jobs, much less have the training and safeguards required
for hazardous workplaces. You must stop immediately. Put those vacuum
cleaners and dusters down. Step back. Find a really engrossing book, a
comforter, and a box of chocolate. Better safe than sorry.

I have a prominently displayed (though
hardly original) sign:

"Dust is a protective coating!" VBG

Beverly

Beverly, It may not be original but it sure is funny. Now I have to clean my
computer screen. Please give warnings in the future.

Sometimes I'm a little slow on the uptake about warnings but never on humor!
I really hade a good belly laugh. Good thing DH was out. He gets worried
when he hears my laughing at the computer.
