I want a sewing foot like that so bad! I read that site front to back and as
far as I can tell it won't work on a Husqvarna Designer1, or did I just miss
something.

Yes it works on the D1. I have a D2 and the Master Curve Foot. Bought it at
the Glendale Quilt Show in Spring. The gal was doing the demo on a D2

Well, it fits my Lily just fine! The box has a pile of adapters in it
to fit most of the Big Names, and the ankle for the Designer I is the
same as that for the Lily in shape and size. A lot of the feet for the
two are interchangeable. Hang on a minute... As I thought: it fits
Lily fine without using any of the adapters - just snaps on like a
regular foot! I'm sure the inventor was using a Designer with it at the
NEC when I saw it demoed and bought it. She assured me then that it
fitted the HV machines. Looks like she was right!

Now, I must USE mine! I'll take pix and show it working when I do!

If you look at the site, and click on the Adapters Guide header, you'll
get a window with more info: the first paragraph reads, 'Used alone the
Curve Master is a snap-on foot which fits Janome, New Home, and other
"snap-on" foot sewing machines.' it then goes on to tell you which
shank to use for other types of machine.

While I had the lady's attention, I asked about any other gadgets she
was thinking about, and she said they were trying to develop a 5/8"
version for sewing garments! Now THAT would interest me mightily!
Easy-peasy princess seams! Yes, please!

Why would you think it won't fit the D1? It fits just fine. No adapter
needed.

Woa...that would have to be some kind or miracle quilting foot for me
to fork over $30.00 for a small piece of plastic!

Has anyone used it...is it worth the money?
