Default OT - what a day

After spending nearly all day out of the house yesterday, I did a marathon
day around the house. The living room is nearly all rearranged for the sofa
and such we are ordering soon (I hope). Sorted toys, trashed broken ones,
did laundry (16 trips to the basement for laundry and other things) and
finally got a call back from the plumber and made a date for that - the tank
in the kids bathroom cracked. (wonder how that happened! lol)

I did knit a little, no stitching as my hands are raw from many things. I
did pot up some newly arrived daylilies (one of them is CALICO PRINT, loved
the name), moved some plants, pulled the catmint from the garden and put in
a new shrub.

Now I am tired and wired - too much iced tea at dinner. Sigh....

Firday: Woke up, started painting the guest room, ran out paint
(light color over dark, two coats needed), got more, finished walls
and trim (walls blue, trim white), painted over blue spots on ceiling,
got curtains back up. 8 am to 9 pm. Long hot bath, collapsed.

Today: weed front garden, deep clean my bedroom, hall bath.
Sun - Wed: more of same. Trying to get house ready to sell.

Do you want to start on my house next? I may be only one person, but I've

been
working a lot of hours lately and the living room is starting to look like

it
has been trashed.

As for the garden, I've started hauling in my house plants. We have snow
forecast for Wednesday. There is usually a nice Indian summer here, but
everything is usually dead.

Hmm. I think I will hem curtains for an hour.

Wow! I wish I could just be half as productive on the weekends...

Cheryl, what's catmint? The way you describe it, it sounds like it
might be a weed. And there's a weed in our garden that I can not
identify. Since our bearded dragon likes to munch on it, I'd really
love to know what it is... It's low-growing, lacy-leafed, and smells
similar to mustard greens. Any thoughts???

I've slowed way down with the kids home!

No, just over vigorous for where is was! I've moved a few pieces to a spot
where it can do as it will!

This the plant?

And this AM, I discovered that weedy vine was poison ivy! And that Technu
didn't do that great a job....

And the tenant that said she'd be out this weekend won't be and there is an
other carpet that needs replacing. GRRR

Hee hee.
I was a terror when I moved into this place, painted all the walls throughout,
cleaned everything.
Unfortunately I ran out of steam about the time I needed to do some filing.
Ah well. I guess I'll have to do it myself.

NO!
I have the living room closer to where I want it.
The loft area is next, then the master bath, then the painting.......
